At The Lakes Christian College Preschool, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God, created with unique potential and purpose. Our Preschool program reflects the heart of our wider College community—where learning is joyful, relationships are nurturing, and Christ’s love is central. In partnership with families, we seek to build strong foundations for each child’s future by fostering curiosity, confidence, compassion, and a sense of belonging. As children grow academically, spiritually, and socially, we aim to help them discover the fullness of life that God desires for them, both now and in the years ahead.

 

OUR VISION  

The vision of The Lakes Christian College Preschool is to glorify God in a Christ centred community where students build skills for Lifelong Learning, Strong Character, and Spiritual Responsiveness.

 

The Lakes Christian College aims to fulfil this vision by encouraging each child: 

 

• ACADEMICALLY - to develop individual gifts and talents to the best of each child’s ability. 

 

• SPIRITUALLY - by nurturing each child’s relationship with God. 

 

• SOCIALLY - so they will come to appreciate their personal value and worth to God as well as their value to other people in the community.

To serve one another and to consider the needs of the wider community, our environment and particularly people with special needs. 

Our Christian faith based on the Bible permeates every area of school life and forms the basis of every curriculum area.  

 

OPENING TIMES

Our Preschool service operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm and accepts enrolments
of children aged between 3.5 and 5 years. Our Preschool is closed and does not operate during
school holidays.

• Term 1: 2 Feb 2026 to 2 April 2026

• Term 2: 20 April 2026 to 3 July 2026

• Term 3: 27 July 2026 to 25 Sept 2026

• Term 4: 12 Oct 2026 to 9 Dec 2026
