The High School programs at The Lakes Christian College build on the strong foundations laid down in our Primary School. The education provided in High School is holistic; focusing on the development of the whole person mentally, spiritually and physically.

At The Lakes Christian College, there is a balanced culture of academics, skills, creativity, and character development. The range of programs delivered in the High School allows students to discover their own uniqueness and to develop all aspects of their lives, enabling them to reach out for the potential which is in them and to see that God has a purpose for their lives.

The formal curriculum at The Lakes follows the syllabi of the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA, formerly BOSTES), which culminates in the award of the HSC at the end of Year 12. The Lakes Christian College is developing a solid tradition of academic excellence, with all students completing Year 12 earning an HSC and an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank.

Students engage in challenging, relevant learning activities and study tasks with meaningful assessments that are connected to what the students are studying.

At the end of each semester, students are rewarded for their Academic performance at The Academic Achievers’ Award Assembly.

At The Lakes Christian College, we believe in Success for Every Student. It is a clear expectation that every student is capable of success. While success for different students may mean different goals based on ability, we believe all students need to be experiencing success as they move towards developing their God-given gifts and talents. Teachers are trained to meet the differing needs of students and to direct them towards individual success.

You are invited to come and take a tour of our wonderful College on any day convenient to you. Every Day Is An Open Day at The Lakes Christian College.
